Abstract:- In this paper the multipath routing protocols to improve the load balancing and quality of service in WSN and also provide reliable communication. The various multi-path routing protocols of the WSN in the literature and illustrates its benefits and the elements of these schemes and their classifications based on their attributes have been also discussed. And the comparison of these protocols which are of great help to understand the properties and limitations of existing solutions. A survey of multipath routing protocols in wireless sensor networks is discussed
