A concept to improve the temporal quality of visual display by providing consistent optical flow of the dis-played image is proposed. Based on this concept, a method to locally compensate the time delay of the image displayed through HMDs for the operator’s rotational head motion is shown, by using signals obtained by addi-tional sensors.
