(GAmI) calls for a technological framework enabling the integration of context-awareness and location-awareness. At the same time, it is also highly necessary the role of a subscription and notification mechanism that, starting from context, triggers services within the GAmI system. We argue that the glue between GAmI software components should be realized by a middleware that manages connectivity and messaging by implementing event channels and service sharing mechanisms based on advanced decentralized protocols. Moreover, it should provide self-organization and self-adaptation mechanisms in or-der to support the (spontaneous or induced) dynamic creation of composite services, and support seamless task migration.
