Abstract:In the present study,a set of biparental and single-copy EPIC markers were developed by blasting ESTs database of Actinidia chinensis and A. deliciosa and genome database of Vitis vinifera. A total of 129 EPIC markers were identified with an average identity ≥ 85 % in the flanking exon regions. A total of 96 EPIC primer pairs were designed and tested,of which,21 successfully amplified the target regions in A. chinensis and A. deliciosa. The nucleotide diversity(Pi),variable sites, parsimony informative sites varied from 0.003 to 0.069,0.7 % to 14.8%,and 0 to 9.4%,respectively. Phylogeny of five Actinidia species using EPIC-1 marker was reconstructed, showing the primers developed here coul
