Nowadays, online games are becoming more and more popular in our daily life. People register in the game and create their account to save and start their data. The vulnerable attacks of online game security are someone eavesdrop your personal information through the client part or the switch part. After that, people can steal your equipments like your weapon, your food, and your virtual money used in the game. In this paper, we look into security failures that have happened or might happen in online games, and discuss some key security issues that online game providers have to concern. Specifically, we look into various online cheatings, and introduce security techniques to deal with cheating prevention, though meanwhile other security issues are also discussed
