The current study aimed at investigating to what extent faculty in higher education of Pakistan is spiritual and whether or not they differ in their level of overall spirituality and in its four relational modes such as intrapersonal, interpersonal, superapersonal spirituality and ideopraxis. Independent Spirituality Assessment Scale (ISAS) was used to collect the data from the teaching faculty of five private and three public HEIs of Pakistan. Results of multivariate regression analyses indicated that female faculty members possessed significantly lower level of overall spirituality and its relational modes such as intrapersonal, interpersonal and superapersonal except ideopraxis than their male counterparts. Faculty members employed by private HEIs experienced higher degree of overall spirituality, interpersonal and superapersonal spirituality only than their counterparts serving in public sector HEIs. Faculty with teaching experience between 16 to 20 years were more spiritual regarding intrapersonal mode than their counterparts having teaching experience up to five years whereas lecturer had higher level interpersonal spirituality than the professors.
