Mass spectral libraries are necessary for the General Unknown Screening in e.g. forensic or environmental analysis. Several libraries were developed and successfully applied by different working groups. The transfer of existing libraries to quadrupole instruments of same and another manufacturer was already investigated. The following poster describes the possibility of transferring existing mass spectral libraries set-up on a triple quadrupole instrument in Q1 scan with in-source fragmentation and product ion scan to a linear ion trap mass spectrometer.
