GENERICBEHAVIOUR OF PROPANE COMBUSTION IN FLUIDIZED BEDS

The fluidizedbed washeatedfrom400to 900°C,while mixturesof air andpropanewith variousequivalence fatiaswereblown into thebedthroughthe distributor,andthe molefractionsof CO2, CO andO2 in the flue gasesleavingthe fluidizedbed weremeasuredandrecorded.Analysis of theexperimentalresults,especiallyof the CO2 evolution,revealedtrendsand a general classificationfor theexperiments.
