Business organizations provide numerous mental health programs to address the various needs of their employees. This article examines whether or not these mental health programs influence employee satisfaction with benefit programs, their jobs, and the organization itself. Analysis of data collected from 2,972 Japanese employees reveals that different mental health programs have a significant positive effect on employee satisfaction. Simple t-tests reveal that employees whose organization has a medical health program or who use or are eligible to use these medical health programs have significantly higher satisfaction with their employee benefit programs, their jobs, and the organization.
