AbstractStylistics is one of the most important issues in literary text. Its goal is to decode literary meanings and structural features of literary texts by identifying linguistic patterns and their functions in the texts. The aim of this study is to survey the theory of stylistics and its practical application at Forough Farrokhzads poems. The presented study investigates stylistic devices at works which have been published in five volumes, entitled The Captive [Asir], The Wall [Divar], Rebellion [Esian], Another Birth [Tavallodi Digar], Let Us Believe in the Beginning of the Cold Season [Iman biyavarim be Aghaz-e Fasl-e Sard].
