The complexity of web pages has been continuously increas-ing in terms of layout, navigation support, information den-sity, etc. Web pages are also viewed from displays of vari-ous form factors – mobiles, PDAs, laptops, desktops, wide screens, etc. The problem of adapting web pages to mobile displays has been widely addressed. We argue that most of these approaches increase the cognitive load of browsing these adapted pages. In this paper, we propose an alter-native approach: that of segmenting web pages, choosing informative sections, and re-laying the informative sections into a compact form.
