The paper deals with a realization of control of distributed mechatronic system ope-rated from MATLAB-Simulink environment. The mechatronic system serves as a la-boratory model of simple manipulation system. The communication within the system is provided by wireless ZigBee protocol through a coordination unit. This unit is connected via serial interface to the control computer, where appropriate Simulink model runs.
