Peer-to-peer computing has been widely popular in a wired network. Now peer-to-peer computing is going mobile. In-stant messaging and some trials with content sharing have already been done but many other solution ideas have also been discussed. Third generation technology provides true IP-based communication between mobile phones and the new and more powerful devices and wider bandwidth open new possibilities for mobile peer-to-peer applications. This document presents some new ideas for applications and in-troduces also the advantages and challenges that the mobility brings to peer-to-peer
