Old Testament Survey

Old Testament Survey is designed to provide learners with a rich learning experience that engrosses them in the scripture of the Old Testament. The activities are designed to provide a more practical experience for learners to apply the scripture to current life situations. Learners will experience in-depth discussions and personal reflection on the material presented in this course. COURSE OBJECTIVES After completing this course the learners will be able to meet the overall course objectives as described below. • Describe the historical setting of the four major sections of the Old Testament, including historical events, geography, and archaeology. • Explain the fundamental message of each of the four major sections of the Old Testament and give a synthetic view of the contents. • Survey the Scriptures to identify and relate the spiritual principles found in each of the four major sections of the Old Testament to practical Christian living.
