Future Smart Grids are expected to “monitor, protect and automatically optimize the operation of [their] interconnected elements ” [1]. In this context, electric vehicles (EV) offer promising potential for the usage of renewable energy sources or an optimized operation of power grids. Regarding the integration of EV both into distribution grids and the overlaid ICT infrastructure of Smart Grids, we present a flexible (dis)charging management for EV and their corresponding charging spots.
